The SPC Loadgard continuously calculates and records the mean and range for each part produced. These x Bar and sigma charts will display the extent of common cause variation which translates into a statistical measurement of part quality.
To help reduce die set-up time, the SPC Loadgard will store key operating parameters including the statistically sampled target load values for each job. This feature provides assurance that all jobs are set within their process capability window.
A detailed history of each alarm occurrence will help identify and track the causes for process variation. The downtime events are charted in decreasing order of frequency in a Pareto chart format.
Histogram charting shows the comparative frequency of the load measurements. The size of the histogram will indicate that an off tolerance condition exists at a specific point in the production run.
